A GOOD DESIGN MAKES A
PRODUCT UNDERSTANDABLE
Meagan Garrett has always had a passion for art and design. Since starting out in 2003 with black & white film photography, she realized early on that she had a keen eye for the simplistic beauty of the world around her. Following the path of photography, she soon began to dabble in graphic design that later flourished into information design and how we perceive information in the marketing world.
From 2007 to 2012, Meagan spent time studying and obtaining two degrees from DeVry University; an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Web Graphic Design and a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Computer Information Systems with a specialty in Web Development and Administration. Upon graduation in 2012, Meagan was awarded the Student Innovation and Impact Award.
While working at a prestigious oil & gas company in Houston, Texas, Meagan was able to continue honing her skills in information design within a support role she took on in the Marketing & Communication Department. After Hurricane Harvey, Meagan relocated to Southern Missouri to enjoy the downtime and slower pace of country life. In her personal time, she pursues her hobbies that consist of graphic design, painting, and photography.
